Welcome (back) to the new Georgetown Law Weekly!

The Georgetown Law Weekly welcomes all new and returning students to campus for their first – or next- year of law school!  The Law Weekly is also debuting its all new website.  Hopefully, with this new platform, the Law Weekly can provide increasingly excellent news coverage to Law Center students and alumni.  We are also excited to serve as a guide and a resource to law students, especially our incoming 1Ls.

The Law Weekly is always in need of help.  We are looking for new members in all aspects of the paper.

Writing for the Law Weekly can boost your resume, improve your writing skills, get you published, help you connect with important campus events and people, and provide an exciting distraction from the grind of law school.  No experience is required – we will work with you to get you writing.  We are also flexible with the volume of stories that you want to work on.  Law school is a lot of work – we respect that and want to work with you!

Even if you do not want to write, we could still use your help.  The Law Weekly is open to any and all suggestions or ideas for the new year.

If you are interested in any of the above, please contact David Nayer, the editor in chief, at dan31@georgetown.edu.  Keep an eye out for our table at the Fall Student Organization Fair on Wednesday, September 9.

And if you just want to read, you can look forward to a wealth of content as the semester pushes on and recruitment gets going.  We are an online-only paper so all you have to do is bookmark this site and/or Like us on Facebook to get constant updates!
