The Georgetown Law Weekly is the student newspaper at the Georgetown University Law Center, a highly-ranked law school in the heart of Washington, D.C. The fully student-run and written newspaper provides coverage of campus news, as well as cultural commentary and opinion aimed at students, the local community, and beyond.
The Law Weekly is always looking for new contributors! The staff understands that law school can make it challenging to balance academics with extracurricular activities, but it can be done. Students writing for the Law Weekly can benefit from an additional resume item and conversation-starter at interviews, a way to contribute to campus life, a way to meet people outside of your classes, and valuable contact with upperclassmen who can provide guidance throughout your law school career.
If you are interested in working at the Law Weekly, please e-mail the current Editor-in-Chief, Fran Djoukeng, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
